1. The Methylformamide process is prepared by the reaction of Methylformamide and carbon monoxide. 2. The methyl formate process is the reaction of methyl formate with Methylformamide. 3. It is produced by the reaction of ethyl formate with Methylformamide. Ethyl Chemicalbook formate was added into the reactor and Methylformamide aqueous solution was added under cooling. The reflux reaction was carried out at 40ºC. Then place for 3d, decompress and recover ethanol to get crude product. The finished product is obtained by vacuum distillation.
