This is a highly detailed and highly realistic statue of the mythological Griffin (Gryphon or Griffon). The Griffin is a legendary creature with the body of a lion and head and wings of an eagle. It stands with a strong claw on a Celtic ball and the other is aligned for action. This gorgeous Griffin statue is made from cold cast bronze (bronze mixed with resin) giving it a very dramatic and rich appearance. This process consists of mixing bronze powder with resin to produce cold cast bronze which makes the statue look richer and more lifelike.
